Driving here from Midland or Odessa: Take I-20 west to Pecos (76 miles). At Pecos, take Highway 17 south to I-10 (34 miles). Take I -10 west for 2 miles until you come to Balmorhea. Take Highway 17 south to Fort Davis (37 miles).Driving here on I-10 from cities such as Austin, San Antonio, Kerrville, Fredericksburg, San Marcos, etc: Take I-10 west until you get to Balmorhea. Take Highway 17 south to Fort Davis, (37 miles).
There are only two ways into Fort Davis and our campground..... HWY 17/118 Southbound or HWY 17/118 Northbound....We are located on this main road...in the town of Fort Davis, 1/4 Mile North of the County Courthouse or 3/4 Mile South of the Old Fort Davis NHS.
