Open year round. P.A. discount is valid Sunday through Thursday. P.A. discount is not valid during Memorial Day, 4th of July & Labor Day three-day weekends. May tent camp on any site. Dogs allowed, but must have proof of rabies vaccination. Horses allowed all year except from Memorial Day to Labor Day weekend. Valid Tennessee license and proper stickers required to hunt. *Rates are for 2 people, $3.00 per night for each additional person. Primitive camping: $12.00, P.A. $6.00. Electric & water sites: $20.00, P.A. $10.00. Electric & water lakefront sites: $22.00, P.A. $11.00. Additional charge for RVs longer than 35 feet. Plus tax.

Directions:

From I-40, take Exit 258 (Gordonsville/Carthage). Turn north onto Highway 53 and travel several miles to 70N/53E. Turn right and travel approximately 7 miles. When you come to Chestnut Mound, turn left onto Highway 53 (70N continues going straight). Travel 2.4 miles to Enigma Road and turn right. Travel 2.5 miles and turn left onto the first road to the left. The park entrance will be on the left, a short distance after you turn.
